MORE GEOMETRY

These are some of the additional Geometry books and resources that did not make it in my previous Geometry post. Some books at the advanced section here are meant for independent learners. I am sure there are more math literature available beyond what I have listed here. Geometry was initially done playfully in our home, by deriving proofs and formulae, playing with puzzles such as Tangrams, building and constructing structures; using Zome, reading and discussing a lot of history behind geometry, math and art, etc. Later my kids moved onto some more formal Geometry learning through programs like AOPS, Aleks etc. We bought our kids a good Drafting/Geometry kit when they expressed interest in doing hands on proof based geometry learning. We also invested on the Zome tools advanced math kit. Zome has gotten a lot of use in our home by both our kids even though we bought the kit way before their recommended ages. I hope some of these resources are useful to you.

Other Geometry related books and learning

Tangrams
Tangrams can be awesome fun. My kids enjoyed them a lot when they were younger.
Zome Geometry
The Zome system is a big hit in our home with both kids and adults. My kids have spent hours together with this product creating many complex creations. This book is a guide book to use with the Zome system for some hands on Geometry learning of three dimensional space. We bought the Advanced Math kit for our kids, and even though our kids were way younger for the product. Nevertheless it got used a lot over the years. Here is the Hyperdo kit and the Plato's Solids

Art and Geometry
Hands on/Activity based
Work book/activity based... My kids are not big on work book style activity books; but I know it works for some families. If your kids love working on concepts through workbooks, the following might be of some use.
